Every child is born a Genius!
Most people believe that from time to time a genius is born amongst us mere mortals. These geniuses greatly enhance the human race in numerous ways. They come in many and various guises, such as, Mozart, Beethoven, Einstein, Michael Angelo, Nostradamus, Isambard Kingdom Brunel, Benjamin Franklin, Alexander the Great, James Watt, Faraday, Marie Curie, Kathy Freeman, the Wright brothers and the list goes on and on.
All of them had several things in common, firstly they were mortal, they were once only children who played and had fun like the rest of us. They do made mistakes, they were naughty, sick, had injuries, got dirty, had disappointments. They too had needs, wants and desires, they had day dreams and had a life just like everyone else.
However they ALL had one special thing in common, they had a burning desire to achieve something. You could not pick these individuals as being a genius just by looking at them; they looked like everyone else they were normal children.
ALL CHILDREN ARE BORN A GENIUS!
It is today’s cultures, society and environments that mould children
into what they have become!
Most young people have a dream to become famous. Maybe they have an Empire to build a mountain to climb, a machine to invent or a book to write. However, very few seem to take the first step, even fewer achieve their dreams, nevertheless they are there lying dormant within every child, that genius is just waiting to be released just like a genie in a bottle!
Dreaming is a very important part of personal development, many famous people were daydreamers. They had a worthy idea or desire to create something, to improve something, or to change a situation. The creator of “Shine” had such a dream, you are now reading it!
What made all these people different from the normal daydreamers was that they allowed their dream to become a burning desire. They followed their desire relentlessly and with great determination, many were focussed to a point of obsession. No one could deter them, no obstacle would stand in their way regardless of how daunting it may seem. They could not be deterred by others regardless of who they were, they were single minded about achieving their dreams, their objectives. In many cases they went against great odds, many had to overcome great personal difficulties. They believed in themselves!!!
That strong desire finally became a passion, an unstoppable passion to achieve their dreams. Like the blind pilot who piloted a plane around the world the single young mother who had a dream to write a book about a young Wizard. There was the man who had a vision then passed his vision on to twelve other men who in turn passed his vision on to many more until it became a worldwide phenomenon, and this phenomenon is thriving to this day. This happed around two thousand years ago!!!

just a normal person before they were famous
